As June unfolds, summertime is upon the Port of Redwood City. We're very excited to offer the community a grand 4th of July to commemorate the nation's 250th birthday. This year, the Port will host a spectacular fireworks show celebration that will be viewable from many vantage points across the community and the broader region. While summer is in full swing, the Port, in partnership with the San Mateo County Office of Education, is exploring curriculum ideas for local high school students interested in the maritime trade. In Currents, we’re highlighting how the Port is moving our industry forward while making the waterfront more inviting for the community. Our cargo operations drive the economic engine enabling the community benefits that we offer the public. These focuses keep the region strong, active and enjoyable for all.
