The Port of Redwood City promotes a work life balance for its employees, while offering the highest level of service to the public.

 

In consideration of the high cost of housing in the Bay region, the Port launched an alternative Friday Office Closure, to ease employee commute time, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and provide one additional hour of business administration to the public Monday through Thursday. 

Port of Redwood City administrative offices offer a compressed work schedule and are open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, open on Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and closed every other Friday, as shown below.
