Maritime Fun Fact: There are over 430 member organizations, including the Port of Redwood City, in the Green Marine network.
This July, the Port is proud to mark one year of participation in the Green Marine program. The Green Marine is a network for the North American marine industry. As a participant, the Port measures 14 target metrics related to key issues for environmental stewardship which we highlight in this month’s issue.
Also, we’re thrilled to share details on the Peninsula Celebration Association’s Fourth of July fireworks show taking place at the Port’s waterfront. With warmer weather and longer daylight hours, it’s a great time to host an event at the Port. We provide all the details to get your next event planned on the waterfront.
We’re excited to invite residents and visitors to visit the Port this summer. There are endless opportunities to create memories and have a ‘Splash of Fun.’ When you visit, please help keep our walkways and waterways clean by picking up trash and not littering. We can all work together to support a beautiful community and provide good stewardship towards a clean bay.
