It is with gratitude that we close our calendar year end for 2025! From maritime policy to waterfront adventures and community opportunities, this month’s newsletter shares the Port’s impact to our region.
Did you know that the Port's maritime commerce is directly shaped by dredging our waterways? Dredging is the removal of sediments and debris from the Port's shipping channel and cargo berths. Recently, members of Congress introduced bi-partisan legislation called the Dredging Coordination Improvement Act, aiming to improve Port operations.
