pUBLIC wATERFRONT

The Port of Redwood City has more than one mile of waterfront public access, walkways and viewing areas including waterfront parks with picnic areas, restrooms, and parking. Fishing is allowed from the public fishing pier and public art installations along the waterfront welcome visitors to enjoy our public amenities. The Port is home to one of only two public boat launch ramps with access to San Francisco Bay south of Coyote Point. Boats on trailers can be launched in the Redwood City Channel 24 hours per day, seven days per week, for a nominal use fee of $5.00 per launch.

You can now permit waterfront parks for special events! Download the Port of Redwood City Park Permit Application for more information.
