Portfest 2019

PortFest is a longstanding waterfront festival traditionally held on the first Saturday of October at the Port of Redwood City. PortFest welcomes the community to celebrate our waterfront, learn about our maritime heritage, and appreciate the industrial working waterfront while enjoying carnival games, food, drinks, sea life and more overlooking the San Francisco Bay.

Port of fun for everyone

Many traditions have formed for families and residents of Redwood City since PortFest is known for a wide range of activities that visitors of all ages can enjoy including: 

 

  • Kids and teen sailing

  • Boat ride harbor tours with the Marine Science Institute

  • Working waterfront tour

  • Live music

  • Craft beer

  • Arts and craft vendors 

  • Food booths and food trucks
