| San Mateo - Hayward Bridge |

| The San Mateo-Hayward Bridge is scheduled for a
major improvement and earthquake retrofit program. The bridge will be widened from 4 to 6
lanes to allevaiate traffic congestion and improve safety on the bridge. The length of the
project is 8.6 miles and includes 5 miles of the new trestle. Also included in the project
is an earthquake retrofit. The Port of Redwood has recently entered into a lease
agreement with West Coast Bridge. West Coast Bridge has been awarded a contract to
perform a component of the bridge improvement and will work on the earthquake retrofit.
The Port is very pleased to wlecome West Coast Bridge as a new tenant. |
