Concert and Fireworks

 

4th of July, 2002
at the Port of Redwood City

The Peninsula Celebration Association will hold a fireworks’ display at the Port of Redwood City starting at 9:30 PM. Festivities at the Port will begin with “Cajun Classics” a New Orleans Style Zydecoe/Jazz Band playing from 7:30-9:00 PM at the Port’s lawn area behind Arrivederci Restaurant.

Road Closures:

bulletCHESAPEAKE DRIVE AT SEAPORT BOULEVARD WILL BE CLOSED TO
INBOUND TRAFFIC FROM 5-10 PM.
 
bulletSEAPORT COURT WILL BE CLOSED WHEN PARKING CAPACITY HAS BEEN
REACHED.
 
bulletSEAPORT BOULEVARD WILL BE CLOSED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AS
NEEDED TO CONTROL THE FLOW OF VEHICLES TRYING TO ENTER THE
PORT AREA.
 
bulletTHE PUBLIC FISHING PIER WILL BE CLOSED FROM 6-10 PM.

The public boat launch ramp and parking lot will remain open on July 4th, however, spectators will not be permitted on the launch ramp dock during the fireworks show.
