Sequoia Art Group's 2009 Annual Redwood City Spring Art Show

The Port of Redwood City is a sponsor of the Sequoia Art
Group’s Annual Redwood City Spring Art Show.
This year the event showcased 158 adult and 180 student artworks
on May 16-17, 2009. The “Redwood City Port Commission Award”
is given to first and second place winners in the Port of Redwood City category.

	1st Place: Mr. Bruce Wyckoff for his photograph of the Redwood City Salt Pile;
	2nd Place: Ms. Marla Lahr for her photo entitled “Sailboat 717”.

	2009 Poster Contest 1st Place:Karen Dooley, Third Grade, Mr. Tsivikas Class, Roy Cloud School, wins a bicycle with helmet & bike lock and a Battleship Re-enactment Sail. Commissioner Ralph Garcia presents the award.
	2009 Poster Contest 2nd Place: Auryana Rodriguez, Fifth Grade, Ms. Rivoli Class, Roy Cloud School Wins a Razor mini scooter with helmet & knee pads and a Battleship Re-enactment Sail. Commissioner Ralph Garcia presents the award.
	2009 Poster Contest 3rd Place:Nate Bartoshuk, Fifth Grade, Mr. Cagle Class, North Star School Wins a wooden easel art chest & sketch pad and a gift certificate to Malibu Castle.
	2009 School Particpation Award Winner $500.00 School Participation Award: Roy Cloud, which is the school attended by the 1st place winner. Commissioner Ralph Garcia hands out the school participation award to Mr. Tsivikas, Third Grade Teacher, Roy Cloud.

The three Honorable Mention prize winners will each receive 71-piece art supply kit with sketch pad.
